I have been a customer at fussy cow since 06.10.2016 when i moved to Barmouth. 
Previous to discovering kristie at fussy cow i have spend many years travelling around the country to find this level of service.
Kristie is clearly devoted to her craft which in my opinion is the key. This oozes from her salon and between her determination, professionalism and character the salon has grown from strength to strength.

Any business within a small rural community such as this is a massive risk, however to see how Fussy Cow has evolved to such a thriving business it is a pleasure to see & lovely to hear people discussing the brilliance at the salon within a vast area of the town. 
I personally have friends that travel frequently at least 30 Miles to get to fussy cow due to the quality services & experience on offer at the salon.

The recent modern refurbishment certainly has the wow factor whist having a warmth about it and a classy professonal atmosphere.

Kristie in my opinion is a perfectionist and takes serious pride in all her work whilst continuing to train and flourish to provide excellent services in this small town.
 

I booked my first appointment with Kristie almost 4 years ago, a short while after she came to Barmouth to open her salon Fussy Cow. There are no words strong enough to express my thanks and gratitude to Kristie, I suffer from polycystic ovary syndrome, my eyebrows were scarce and very faint, I looked ill, I had no confidence or self esteem, I also have unwanted hair in areas no woman wants to.

I visited the salon had a chat with Kristie who immediately made me feel so much better just from having a chat, she helped me understand why my body is doing what it is better than the doctors did and suggested some treatments and booked me in. We started with HD brows which was called celebrity brows then, lip wax, cheeks and bikini wax. I was nervous and felt slightly exposed but the second I got in that seat I felt pampered, relaxed and like I was in a friends living room having a natter. I’ll never forget how I felt leaving the salon that day, I felt like a woman, I felt confident I felt amazing! I still to this day don’t understand how a good set of brows can change your whole appearance and with that comes confidence. Having  Kristie as my beautician really has benefited my life so much, I moved 26 miles away for a new job, I pass numerous salons on my way but once you’ve had Kristie as your beautician you'd never settle for anyone else. 

What I love about Kristie is she’s always striving to improve herself and offer new and the latest treatments, but not just for herself, her 2 ladies Alex and Natalie also. She started in a one room salon on her own and in 4 short years has progressed to a multiple room and has now just renovated it with 2 lovely staff, in a small rural town like Barmouth this is a huge achievement but she’s made it happen with her hard work and dedication. She is the best and I’m so grateful and thankful she is my beautician ❤

I have been a client of Kristies at Fussy Cow for about 7 years now. My first set of acrylic nails were done in a tiny rented room of the local tattoo shop owned by a friend of hers which she had use of a couple of days a week. Since then I have watched Kristie and her business grow into the well known, ultra modern, stylish and very high standard it is now.

Kristies extensive knowledge of acrylic nails and the wide range of other beauty treatments she provides make her a very worthy winner. Not only does she have an amazing talent that she has worked hard to perfect over the years by attending and completing every course she possibly can  but she also has the skill and patience to train her staff to same excellent standard. If Kristie herself is ever unable to do my treatments personally, I am more than comfortable for her brilliant staff do them and i know I will walk out of the salon very happy!

Not only is Kristie's work perfect but her customer service is second to none. She never fails to put you at ease with her down to earth personality and often has the salon in fits of laughter! She's a friend to her staff and everybody who walks in as her client. I have seen Kristie grow from a learning the trade nail technician, to a fully qualified reputable beautician who people are willing to travel miles to get an appointment with, to a very hard working wife and mum of 3 who still puts everything into her business! I will never ever go anywhere else for a beauty treatment so long as Fussy Cow is in operation! Xx

Fussy Cow is the best salon you could ask for, as soon as you walk through the door you feel at home. The salon itself is everything you would want a salon to be. I go to Fussy Cow for everything, I live about 40 minutes away but it’s worth it because you know that you’re coming out looking and feeling amazing. Kristie puts so much care into everything and deserves all the success in the world. She’s always friendly, professional and thorough, I couldn’t ask for anyone better.

My background is perfumery and cosmetics having been a buyer for Harvey Nichols and Product Manager for Givenchy. When I moved from London to Wales, I was hesitant to allow anyone near my eyebrows.... I know it's not a 3rd world problem, but when it goes wrong, it can make you feel rubbish. Kristie was recommended to me by a friend and I initially went to see her to have my nails done. 

I really enjoyed my appt- we chatted loads about products and  the industry and Kristie's passion shone through and her knowledge on all the products and services she offered far out weighed many of the therapists I have been to around the world.... so much so I decided to have my eyebrows done and was not disappointed and remain going to see her 5 years later. Even if I am away, I purposefully wait until I am back in Barmouth to see her.
